NEW BOOK OF COMMON ORDER

THE REFORMED BOOK OF COMMON ORDER
REVISION UPDATE.
**********************************************
In the 1970's The National Chrch Association
published a Reformed Book of Common Order which was utilised by Ministers and others who considered it vital to adhere to the fundamentals of the Reformation.

The NCA accepts there is a need for a revised Book of Common Order to suit the twenty first century and is therefore pleased, to be associated with Professor Andrew McGowan, of the Highland Theological College. Professor McGowan has now in place a team of Presbyterian Theologians And Ministers with a wealth of knowledge and understanding of Reformed Worship. This team of twelve from the British Isles and the USA, will shortly begin to compile an updated,'Reformed Book of Common Order'.It is planned to be more comprehensive than the previous edition by incorporating some devotional material, a list of Bible readings, the Westminster Confession of Faith and other fundamental documents of the Reformed church.

Rev.Professor McGowan and his team are now working on the new issue it should be ready sometime in 2007.
